Artist Statement

I am interested in creating work that has a child like feel or a whimsical presence and has some sort of meaning or purpose. My past works have typically been on paper with a more detailed style, and typically reflect my surroundings and current states of mind. Recently I’ve found myself at what feels like the beginning of a specific route in my life that may or may not take me towards a career in the arts. I hope to push through the different rough patches and create work that has more meaning and purpose while still having a chance to pursue creating my own style while being true to myself.
